Kendall™ Skin Wellness System
Skin is the body’s natural barrier. Excessively dry or wet skin is comprised in its ability
to act as an effective barrier to moisture, irritants and microorganisms. Perineal skin is particularly
susceptible to damage commonly associated with incontinence. With proper cleansing, moisturizing,
protection and treatment, comprised skin can be protected from further damage and healthy skin will
maintain its natural barrier properties. Covidien offers a full skin wellness system to cleanse,
moisturize, protect and teat skin. When used together, protect and treat skin. When used together,
this system can relieve the damage commonly associated with incontinence.
Science and nature together
Products in the Kendall™ Skin Wellness System contain jojoba oil. The jojoba plant
(Simmondsia chinensis) is native to the southwestern United States and the oil
is derived from the plant’s seed. Jojoba oil penetrates the surface layers of the
skin and repeat applications enhance the moisturizing effect of the oil. Jojoba oil
restores essential moisture to the skin when natural oils have been diminished from
water loss or exposure to irritants.
